The Guardian, Deutsche Welle on the Violence Against Migrants in Croatia and Bosnia

The Guardian and Deutsche Welle published materials revealing instances of violence against migrants by the police in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The departments of these countries refute the statements of journalists and volunteer organizations.

The Guardian writes it is a question of the situation in the center of accommodation of migrants in the Great Kladushi, cases of theft of money and phones, insults, beatings are cited.

Deutsche Welle published data from the volunteer organization “No Name Kitchen”, according to which about 200 migrants became victims of violence on the borders between Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Bosnia.

Nearly 1,000 migrants arrived in Bosnia last year, and there are already 9,000 migrants. Most of them are citizens of Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. In the Balkans, they are waiting for the opportunity to move further into Western Europe.
