Syrian army surrounded ISIS militants retreated from Sweida

The militants of the terrorist organization “Islamic State” were forced to retreat under the onslaught of the Syrian Arab Army during battles in the deserted part of the province of Sweida.

At the moment, the remnants of broken jihadi detachments relocated to the territory of the province of Damascus, occupying several strategic heights there. According to available information, the militants are surrounded. Government forces are carrying a massive artillery fire. They are supported by Russian aviation, as well as by the Syrian Air Force.

As reported by the specialized telegram-channel Directorate 4, the official statements of the Islamic state from Sweida did not come out for 19 days. Nevertheless, terrorists continue to hold Druze hostages. Later, the militants distributed a videotape with one of the women who called for a military operation to be turned against the Islamists.
