Italian authorities published CCTV footage of the deadly explosion on a Bologna motorway on Monday, as the death toll rose to three people, while over 70 were injured.
As seen on footage, the explosion occurred when a truck carrying flammable liquid failed to stop at a motorway standstill, and crashed into another truck, sending a ball of flame and smoke into the air.
The footage also shows a second explosion several minutes after the first one.
Authorities are yet to announce the reason behind the crash
