The German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution warns that children raised in Islamist families in Germany are a threat to the security of the country.
These children represented “a small potential risk,” the newspapers of the media group Funke reported referring to the new report of the Constitutional Protection Agency
“There are signs of a quick, early and more significant Islamist radicalization of minors and young people,” the report said.
In an interview with the newspaper, the President of the Office, Hans-Georg Massen: “The continuous jihadist socialization of children in an Islamist family environment is extremely disturbing and can grow into a real problem in the coming years”
According to the report, children “were brought up from an extremist point of view of the world in which violence against others is legalized and condemns all those who do not belong to their own group.” The danger also comes from those families who have left the war zones in Syria or Iraq are in Germany on a permanent basis. According to the report, the Department of Constitutional Protection expects a “three-digit number” of radicalized Islamist families with several hundred children.
