Final split: Pashinyan’s Armenian party ceases to exist

According to the Armenian edition of Past, this is evidenced by a number of events on the political arena of the republic. First of all, we are talking about the fact that Pashinyan decided to nominate his own candidate for mayor of Yerevan, not from “Elk”, but from the party “Civil Contract”. In the author’s opinion, such a decision “became a surprise for the allies in the parliamentary bloc”.

In turn, Aram Sargsyan and Edmond Marukyan have already created their own union without Pashinyan. Having united in the party coalition “Bright Armenia” and “Republic”, they intend to participate together both in the elections of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, and in the parliamentary elections. So, the preliminary name of the alliance was the “Light Republic”. And it is possible that other parties will join him. As for Pashinyan, who remained alone in the “Civil Treaty”, the forthcoming elections can be given to him extremely difficult.
