Locals of the Bavarian town of Bamberg shared their views on Friday on the refugee housing complex located in the eastern part of the city.
SOT, Bamberg local (German): “In this city in general you don’t feel it so much, but in Bamberg-east, where the facility is situated, it is already partially a big challange for the people. We are afraid that if there would be more, then the burden would be too large and would be a danger to social peace.”
SOT, Bamberg local (German): “The mood from the local people here is a bit aggressive. It doesn’t matter if it’s with the bus driver, or when shopping. They just have to be attentive and nothing else, because that’s just the way it is.”
