Regardless of the US unilateral sanctions on Iran, Tehran and Beijing will continue normal cooperation without violating international commitments, China Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said.
Shuang made the remarks in the regular press conference answering the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reporter.
China has adopted a clear and firm approach toward Iran, he said in response to a question on Beijing opposition with US request to decrease Iran oil purchase.
Both countries are continuing relations with framework of international regulations, he said, adding that relations between Iran and China is logical and legal.
China has always been against unilateral sanctions against any country like Iran, he reiterated.
