Syrian state media reported that a series of suicide attacks were carried out by the so-called Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL) within the southern Syrian city of Sweida and the surrounding countryside on Wednesday, leaving 38 people dead and many others injured. Footage shows the aftermath of the blast in the al-Souq area, with one vehicle being severely damaged from the blast.
