Armenia’s Prime Minister Pashinyan will visit Washington this September, where, in addition to participating in the UN General Assembly, Pashinyan intends to meet with “Western partners”, says First Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
According to him, Armenia is ready to “deepen relations”. He said that he sees great potential in this: “We expect some clarifications in relations with the West, the United States, Europe, etc. We are preparing to deepen relations, because we think that there is a huge potential here, which, unfortunately, was not realized.”
Recall that, speaking at a press conference on Friday, July 20, Nikol Pashinyan accused the European Union of unwillingness to promote reforms in Armenia.
Earlier, the head of the Armenian government took part in the summit of the North Atlantic Alliance, where he hoped in vain to enlist the support of Western countries. However, the leaders of the states were not at all until this, given how turbulent the summit turned out to be.
