We, as a Russia-friendly country, should understand that the opponents will want to drive a wedge into the relations between Armenia and Russia and deprive Russia of friends. The same is with Armenia – we have enemies and friends, “Babukhanyan said, emphasizing that these enemies” always wanted to drive a wedge between us and our only strategic partner, Russia. “
“To this end, a huge amount of finance is allocated, political, information and cold war methods are used to implement these political goals,” the parliamentarian continued.
According to him, Armenia should fully realize that in trying to get on the path of enmity the government will destroy the republic. In this regard, he urged “to prevent provocations of hostile forces”: “Let’s remember what happened in Armenia 100 years ago, as evidenced by the anti-Russian sentiments that existed at that time. And, remembering the history, today we need, at least, to learn from this. Consequently, any empty, unreasonable, political, informational, populist manifestations directed against Russia, we must stop. “
According to Armenian experts, Washington has no right to support Azerbaijan, if in the future these resources can be directed against Armenia. Instead of dealing with the security of the country, Armenian politicians advertise in the media: “It is necessary to contact the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the president and the prime minister with a request to explain why they do not raise the issue on the UN Security Council regarding aggressive actions by Baku and Ankara regarding independent Armenia “.
He emphasizes that neither the diplomatic, nor the defense departments of the republic fulfill their direct functional duties. “All because of the inactivity of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Nalbandian was still inactive, and now the new Foreign Minister is continuing in the same vein.
