German Chancellor Angela Merkel defended the CDU-CSU migration deal in Berlin Wednesday, during a speech in the German Bundestag over the annual federal budget. Speaking only a day after the dispute with Merkel’s coalition partner CSU and interior minister Horst Seehofer has been solved, Merkel stated, “There needs to be more order regarding all forms of migration, so people can see that law and order are being implemented. This is our mission and our concern.”
