The German Ministry of Finance has received preliminary guarantees from Washington that anti-Russian sanctions will not apply to gas pipelines with Russian participation.
“This is all that we have,” the ministry added, commenting on an important message for journalists.
Earlier, the United States demanded that European countries stop participating in the Nord Stream-2 project and threatened sanctions for those who refused to comply.
