Chisinau resumed protests against the cancellation of the election results

On Tuesday, June 26, near the building of the mayor’s office of the Moldovan capital Chisinau resumed protest actions, caused by non-recognition of the results of the mayor held here on the eve. At the moment, the event involves several hundred people.

Protesters have already blocked the traffic on the Stefan cel Mare avenue and now chant slogans: “No to the dictatorship!”, “We will not back down!”, “Bring back the stolen vote!” and others.

On the eve the protests took place not only in Chisinau, but also in a number of other European cities. Such measures are related to the court’s decision not to recognize the election results of the Mayor of Chisinau. In which, according to the Central Election Commission, Andrei Nastase won.
