About a hundred demonstrators on Monday blocked all the entrances to the building of the Yerevan City Hall and refused to allow the city administration to enter it. Protesters demand the resignation of the mayor Taron Margaryan, the rally is broadcasted by the local news portals.
“Nobody should come in. It’s an act of civil disobedience against corruption and officials who have fabulous wealth at the expense of ordinary citizens,” one of the demonstrators told journalists. He also added that all those present are demanding the resignation of the Yerevan’s mayor.
