Explosion in Germany’s Wuppertal leaves 25 wounded

Searches for those who may still remain under debris are currently underway.

According to the German police, 25 people got injured, at least four of them critically, in an explosion that destroyed a building in the German city of Wuppertal.

Police did not rule out that there were still people in the collapsed building. Emergency services tried to stabilize the building to prevent it from further collapsing.

The cause of the explosion is still unclear, with an investigation being underway.
