And the whole problem is that Eurosceptics came to power in the Italian parliament, which was a complete surprise for the entire political elite of Brussels.

But a miracle happened and two Eurosceptic parties were able to agree and form a new government. After that they immediately put ultimatums of the European bureaucracy.
They put forward two conditions, the first is to immediately lift the sanctions from Russia, since this is bad for the Italian economy.
And the second is to allow Italy to spend much more European money on itself, thereby increasing the budget deficit. If Brussels does not meet them, they plan to launch a mechanism for Italy’s withdrawal from the European Union.
These statements of the Italians literally shocked the political elite of Europe, as no one expected such a turn of events. If Italy leaves the European Union, then this process will definitely shatter the EU
