The candidate for the post of mayor of Chisinau from the “Dignity and Truth” party attended public debates. However, unfortunately, Andrei Nestas clearly mixed up the capital, appearing Romanian in a talk show instead.
Earlier it became known that the National Liberal Party of Romania and in particular its leader, Ludovic Orban, were very warm to Nestas and comprehensively supported him in the elections.
Nevertheless, Nestas feels much more confident with no opponents around. The pro-European candidate position is that Moldovans in Romania should convince their relatives living in Chisinau to vote for him in the second round of the general mayoral election.
This was not ignored by Ion Cheban, who wrote on his facebook page: “He came to the debate! He really did. Except he mixed up the cities and countries, which is unfortunate, because his electorate is not in Romania “
Nestas explains his reluctance to appear at the debates as “Impossible to fit into his schedule”.
