The US-led coalition fighter jets have targeted Syrian government bases in the eastern province of Deir ez-Zor.
“Some of our military positions between al-Bukamal and Hmeimea were hit this morning in an aggression by American coalition warplanes,” a military source told Syrian state news agency SANA on Thursday.
The source added that the attack caused only material damage.
The new attack comes in the framework of the coalition’s explicit support to the terrorist organizations, according to SANA.
