A large American convoy with equipment was caught in the north of Syria in the vicinity of the settlement Tell-Baidar, Hasaka province. As reported by the US portal Syrian Civil War Map on Twitter, a large convoy with US military equipment reached the settlement.
The convoy reportedly had Oshkosh M-ATV armored cars and bulldozers, as well as weapons and ammunition.
Presumably, the cargo is destined for the “Syrian Democratic Forces”, which are at war with the Islamic state in the Euphrates valley. Previously, the US promised to help the SDF in carrying out this operation.
In October last year it became known that the United States was completing the construction of a military airfield to the north-west of the administrative center of the province of Hasaka between the settlements of Tell-Tamr and Tell-Baidar.
