President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon took part in the March of Workers’ Solidarity, timed to сelebrations of 1st May and thanked those present for the support and trust that the people of the Republic of Moldova rendered to him.
The head of the republic welcomed participants of the procession, which represented all sectors of society: veterans, workers, students, military, pensioners. The President stressed that theircountry is going through difficult times.
“This year is the Year of St. Stephen the Great, for which our people are proud.” But this is the pre-election year – the mayoral elections of Chisinau and Balti will soon be held and we must win. On the occasion of the Day of Workers’ Solidarity, the President signed a decree on conferring high state awards on a group of citizens representing different fields of activity for many years of impeccable work, as well as for outstanding services to the Fatherland and outstanding achievements in professional activity.
