Donald Trump considers to meet Kim Jong-un at DMZ

 

US President Donald Trump said that the Korean Demilitarized Zone is being considered as a possible venue for a potential meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, speaking at a press conference with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari in Washington DC on Monday.

The US President added that “if things work out, there is a great celebration to be had on the site, not in a third-party country.” He noted: “it has a chance to be a big event.”

On the 27th of April, Trump announced that he would meet the North Korean leader at some point in the next few weeks.
