Latest unclassified NATO document outlines alarming NATO expansion in Ukraine

According to the latest declassified NATO document titled “ANNUAL NATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR UKRAINE FOR 2018”, the priorities for Ukraine-NATO cooperation development in 2018 are aimed “enhancing the defence ability of Ukraine to counter Russian aggression”

These policies will be implemented through reforming the Ukrainian Army to NATO standarts, implementing new policies regarding information campaigns aimed at “counteracting the Russian propaganda” and, startlingly, providing lethal weaponry to Ukraine, such as anti-tank systems, anti-aircraft defenses and “cybersecurity” hardware

The document claims that one of the primary activities in cooperation is the study of “Russian hybrid warfare” and development of recommendations on countering it.

“Activities within the Ukraine – NATO Platform on Countering Hybrid Warfare are aimed at joint studying the experience in terms of hybrid warfare and formulation of recommendations for the analysis and countering hybrid threats”

The document also outlines the number of internal policies aimed at “enabling societal change” in things like Fair elections, working police force and other unflattering suggestions.

The document accuses Russia several times of “creating a regional crisis” and “unlawfully occupying Ukrainian territory” alluding to Crimean peninsula referendum and Civil War in Ukraine.
