Two missiles fired by USA and it’s allies at Syria didn’t reach their targets due to malfunctions. They were brought to Moscow for study and reverse engineering to improve Russian weapon capabilities says Colonel-General Sergei Rudskoy, chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
“Two of them, including the Tomahawk cruise missile and an air-to-ground precision missiles , were delivered to Moscow,”
Rudskoy added that the Defense Ministry will demonstrate the fragments of cruise missiles of the coalition, shot down by the air defense of Syria.
“Fragments of cruise missiles found in these interception areas have characteristic holes from the striking elements of anti-aircraft guided missiles.There are markings with serial numbers, dates and manufacturers and other data. Specialists will be able to easily identify the origin of these fragments. Some of them you can see at the exposition. After the briefing you will be given the opportunity to get acquainted with it in more detail, ” Rudskoy said.
Earlier it was reported that the Syrian military found and handed over to Russia two American missiles that did not explode during the US attack on Syria on April 14.
