Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic at the government meeting expressed a proposal to reduce the number of embassies in the EU countries, and to increase in those states that did not recognize the independence of the self-proclaimed “Kosovo Republic”, the Belgrade media reported.
“Dacic said that we have too many floors in European countries, and that they need to be moved to countries that did not recognize Kosovo or plan to cancel recognition,” Blitz quotes the words of its source.
Dacic said that President Aleksandar Vučić instructed to review the network of diplomatic missions. Not all countries have their embassies and consulates in each of the European countries.
Earlier, Serbia had repeatedly stated its decision not to expel Russian diplomats from the country.
