The pilots of Pacific Fleet mixed air regiment have conducted mid-air refueling exercises in Kamchatka
The refueling process is a lot more complicated at night due to poor visibility conditions and absence of visual landmarks.
The pilots carried out ten flights and more than 15 refuelling contacts with the tanker airplane. The total flight time of crews exceeded ten hours.
The refueling was carried out by an IL-78M long-range aircraft of the Russian Air Force.
