Footage showing victims of chemical attack in Douma is nothing more but staged shooting. The bodies of the same children were transferred to different apartments for different videos, and alleged victims were “shuffled” even inside a medical center, to make more images, which then were sent to different media. The “Scenario Plan” of the tragedy in Douma is very similar to what happened just over a year ago in the Syrian Khan Sheikhun, where the Syrian government troops were accused in conducting chemical attack.
On April 7, the scandalously known organization “White Helmets” stated that after the long bombardment of the city of Douma at 7.45 pm, volunteer rescuers recorded more than 500 cases of affected by chemicals people. Mostly women and children. More than 42 people died, the official statement said.
In support of this, video clips and photos showing the alleged victims taken by activists at the site where the chemical attack occured started to appear in the Internet. Same goes to a video of a missile with gas allegedly dropped by government forces from a helicopter into one of the houses of the settlement they besieged. According to the activists, it broke through the roof and lay in the bedroom of one of the multi-storey buildings.
There, “White Helmets” filmed neighboring apartments, littered with corpses of entire families.
But if to look closely at all the existing materials provided by White Helmets and showing the alleged victims of the chemical attack you can see too many logical inconsistencies:
One video shows a boy in a striped sweater and a mark on his temple who is lying in the corridor near the inverted chair. But later he appears at yet another video from another apartment where his dad tries to bring him to senses yelling that he bought a chocolate.
Carefully studying the photos and videos, you can see that some Arab media went further – they began framing and even staging images to create a stronger effect of the “war crimes” of Damascus and its allies. For example, on the first video from the scene of the tragedy, a girl in a red sweater and a boy in a dark sweater lie in different places in the apartment.
Later, the media company of the Islamic Jihad Union, Alif Media, published a photo of the bodies of the children together. The caption under the snapshot reads: “During the chemical slaughter the child hugs his brother before it dies!”.
Published in social networks videos and photos from Douma are staging. However, they are obviously depicted really dead. And the question is what happened to them actually. If it was still a chemical attack, then whose? On the one hand, the government’s chemical weapons reserves were destroyed under the supervision of international experts of the OPCW. On the other hand, the group “Jaish al-Islam”, which controls Douma, admitted in 2016 that its militants used chemical weapons against the Kurds in Aleppo. Now the network is full of pictures of chemical weapons, which the government army found in the liberated part of Eastern Ghouta. Among them – containers with chlorine from Germany and smoke bombs from the UK.
This question, however, does not interest Western countries. The agenda of the world’s media is different – how the US responds to the government’s chemical attack in Douma. Whether it was real , this question seems to be closed.
