Russian MoD: No trace of chemical weapons in alleged site of chemical attack in Douma found

 

Russian MoD specialists, including experts in radiological, chemical and biological warfare visited the alleged chemical attack site in Douma on Monday.

SOT, Alexander Rodionov, Head of Russia’s radiological, chemical and biological military in Syria (Russian): “A group of experts from the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation visited a hospital in the city of Douma to interview witnesses and conduct examinations on this incident.”

SOT, Alexander Rodionov, Head of Russia’s radiological, chemical and biological military in Syria (Russian): “During the visit to the hospital, it was determined that there were no victims with poisoning symptoms of chemical substances such as sarin and chlorine in the hospital. The examined patients in the hospital had no symptoms of nerve gas paralysis of sarin type or chlorine poisoning.”
