Bulgarian toxicologist, head of the Military Medical Academy (WMA), Professor Nikola Aleksandrov, said that most of what is said about the poisoning of the Skripals is common words and politics. The toxicologist said this during a broadcast on the Bulgarian national television channel.
“Novichok which was created almost 50 years ago, around 1970, is a binary sarin. That is, two low-toxic substances that become very toxic when combined. Nobody can say who created it. Such a chemical weapon was produced by all countries that participated in World War II,” the professor said.
According to the professor, if everything happened as the UK claims, people who were next to Skripals, also had to get poisoned.
“Zarin, a highly toxic poison, penetrates the human body in every possible way – through the skin, through the airways, through the nose and mouth,” the toxicologist explained. “True, if the poisonous substance passes through the skin, it has a slower effect.”
