Polish politician Janusz Korwin-Mikke on his Facebook page explains why he does not believe in Russia’s involvement in the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury, writes Rzeczpospolita. Moreover, Korwin-Mikke assumes that the US could be involved in this story.
“Why do not I believe that Mr. Sergei Skripal was poisoned by the Russians? Simply because he was sentenced to 13 years in prison in his homeland, and in 2008 he was released abroad – and they had no reason to kill him, especiallybefore the championship, boycott of which would be a disaster,” the leader of the Freedom and the Rule of Law party writes.
According to Korwin-Mikke, the CIA had an excuse, which sought “to direct the propaganda fire to Moscow.” The politician recalls that Vil Mirzayanov, one of the creators of the “Novichok” is in the US, where he was granted asylum.
The politician stresses that the CIA, in carrying out such an attack on Skripal, “could be sure that no one would suspect them; all suspicions will be directed towards Russia, “because the attempt to poison the Russian spy is reminiscent of the murder of a Russian dissident, former lieutenant colonel of the KGB Alexander Litvinenko, who was poisoned with radioactive plutonium. And, as Korwin-Mikke writes, then Russia “practically did not hide that he had killed him.”
