Kiev police helped ‘Right Sector’ members attack the participants of the women’s march

On March 8 in Kiev took place women’s marches “Oh my March! Have the choice” and “Enough to endure”. Despite the large number of law enforcement officers who guarded the order, nationalists from the “Right Sector” still attacked the participants of the procession, the “Political Navigator” correspondent reports. Moreover, the attackers enjoyed the support of “ideologically close” police officers.

This is reported by eyewitnesses in social networks.

‘Right Sector’ members themselves on their page in the social network posted a video in which they explain their hooliganism with “concern for Ukrainian traditions” and the intention to counter “inadequate people who promote tolerant values alien to Ukrainians.” It was also outraged by the fact that the women march participants demand equal rights for the LGBT community representatives. The nationalist on the video called activists “lesbians”.

Recall, the march for women’s rights in Uzhgorod also ended with an attack on its participants by members of the right-wing radical organization “Carpathian Sich”.
