State Duma MP and News Front journalists got under AFU shelling

Russia’s State Duma MP Alexei Zhuravlev and the journalists of the Russian news agency News Front got under shelling conducted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Coming to the forefront, during the “truce” delegation of the State Duma deputy Alexei Zhuravlev and a group of News Front journalists came under mortar shelling.

“Fortunately, everyone are alive, but the car was damaged a little,” says News Front correspondent Ekaterina Katina.

The group was heading to the front line of the demarcation line near Avdeevka.

According to preliminary information, the fire was conducted from 82-mm mortars, and small arms.

It should be noted that the accident happened at the height of the so-called “absolute armistice”.
