At least 4 injured in blast near popular Baghdad’s market

Four civilians were killed and injured Monday in a bomb blast near a popular market in northern Baghdad, a security source was quoted as saying.

Speaking to Alghad Press, the source said, “An explosive charge went off near a popular market at al-Taji rural district in northern Baghdad, leaving one civilian dead and three others injured.”

A security force cordoned off the blast site, while ambulances carried the victims to a nearby hospital, the source added.
