Ukraine may impose sanctions against German companies Adidas and Volkswagen for work in Crimea. This was stated in an interview with the Rheinische Post, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.
According to him, every attempt to get around one way or the other sanctions imposed in connection with the annexation of Crimea, should be punished according to the law.
Klimkin noted that Ukraine has a wide range of legal mechanisms that it can use to punish these companies, and now is the process of finding a balanced solution.
He added that he could not yet disclose details, as this issue needs “some privacy”.
