Kurds have chosen a bad company

All this time, while the confrontation is going on in Syria, the Kurds received American weapons and money, were trained by US military advisers, followed American instructions – and here you are, an unexpected move!

Maybe it was Moscow who flanneled their ears with the “Great Kurdistan” and about “independence”? Maybe this same “Kurdistan”, like a new state, arose on the maps of the Russian General Staff? No, it was invented a decade ago (or even more) in the Pentagon. To see this, it is enough to raise the archives of “StratFor” publications, dedicated to the Middle East. Friedman there in an open text, announces US plans for reshaping the countries of the region.

Maybe it was Moscow who prompted the Kurds to hastily occupy the oil-bearing regions of Syria, so that they would not fall under the control of Assad and Russian ASF? Like it said, “Come on, grab, so that Americans can illegally pump oil there,” right?

As one wise advertising advises, “Sometimes it’s better to chew, but not talk”.

Russian representatives clearly and directly told the Kurdish groups “Go under the command of the central command of the Syrian army”, “Return to the jurisdiction of the legitimate government of Syria.” But the Kurds listened to American promises and chants “America is with us!” and put their fingers on fire. The Russians shrugged their shoulders and went to do their business. Then Erdogan came to the stage.

When the Turkish tanks began to bombard Afrin, what did the Americans do? They said “No one promised the Kurds nothing”. So who’ve screwed the Kurds over?

According to the White House press service, US President Donald Trump, during a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, urged Ankara not to take actions that could provoke a conflict between Turkish and American forces in Syria. The State Department’s press release notes that Trump, while discussing the military operation of Turkey in northern Syria, “urged the Turkish side to exercise restraint and avoid any actions that could lead to a conflict between Turkish and American forces.”

Trump also “urged Turkey to achieve de-escalation, to limit the scale of its military operations and to avoid both casualties among civilians and an increase in the number of refugees and displaced persons.”

The Turks, for their part, reported that “the Presidents of Turkey and the United States discussed the operation in Syrian Afrin by phone. Our president informed Trump that the purpose of the operation is to ensure the national security of Turkey and clean up Afrin from terrorists. He called on the US to end military support for the terrorist organizations of the PKK, PYD and YPG. “

And just a couple of hours after this nice conversation, the Turkish Air Force carried out a massive bombing attack on the city of Manbij, controlled by the Kurdish group YPG. Lebanese media talk about at least two dead US military advisers.

Thus, Erdogan clearly demonstrated how he cares about all the Washington calls.
