Germany: Berlin protest rages against Turkish ‘barbarism’ in Afrin

 

Dozens gathered in the German capital Berlin on Wednesday to voice their anger over the ongoing Turkish military operations to oust Kurdish groups in Syrian Afrin.

People waved Kurdish flags, chanting “Erdogan terrorist”, blaming Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for killing Afrin civilians.

Children, having their faces painted in colours of Kurdish flag also took part in the protest.

Representative of the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria in Germany Masuod Hassan said that, people gathered “to show the voice of the people and children, which are being bombed right now in Rojava in the north-west of Syria, here in Germany. We want the German politicians to learn the reality.”
