Belgrade interrupted the barely begun negotiations with Pristina, the resumption of which was scheduled for today. The reason for this was the murder of the famous Serbian politician in Kosovo and Metohija Oliver Ivanovic, leader of the Civil Initiative “Serbia, Democracy, Justice”.
According to the Ivanovic’s lawyer Nebojsa Vlajic, the politician was shot near the office of his party in Kosovska Mitrovica. He has four gunshot wounds in the chest area. The doctors tried to reanimate the man, but without success.
The Serbian delegation is urgently returning from Brussels to Belgrade, where President Alexander Vučić called a meeting of the National Security Council.
