The Commission of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), led by Richard McClaren, is closely associated with the US FBI. This was established by hackers from Fancy Bears. According to their data, the goal of McLaren’s work was not to fight against doping, but to expand WADA’s control over the IOC.

The hacker group Fancy Bears reported on access to the correspondence of officials of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). According to them, the WADA commission led by Richard McClaren carried out a political order to expel Russia from the participation in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
Hackers from Fancy Bears say that McLaren’s goal is not to fight against doping, but to strengthen his position in the fight against the IOC. In addition, it became known that representatives of the United States and Canada intended to exclude Europeans from the leadership of the Olympic movement.
In support of their words, hackers published a letter sent by the Director of Legal Affairs of the IOC, Howard Stupp, addressed to the Director-General of the Committee, Christophe De Capper and other IOC officials.
Earlier, following the results of the report of the independent WADA commission headed by Richard McLaren, Russia was accused of state interference in the country’s doping system.
