Theresa May began the New Year with a Cabinet reshuffle. Stretching over two days, May has made changes to the top-level cabinet positions, junior ministerial posts, and CCHQ leadership.
Among those ‘New Generation’ members who received the call were Suella Fernandes who becomes Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at DExEU, Robert Jenrick who joins the Treasury, Kit Malthouse who joins the Department for Work and Pensions, Rishi Sunak.
Sunak, who becomes Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the newly renamed Ministry of Housing, Communities, and Local Government, has already written two reports published by the Centre for Policy Studies, ‘A New Era for Retail Bonds’ and ‘The Free Ports Opportunity’.
