Egypt can reconsider the decision to recognize the independence of the self-proclaimed “republic of Kosovo,” the Belgrade outlet Evening News writes, referring to a journalist from Cairo.
It is noted that Egypt recognized Kosovo in 2013, during the reign of the Muslim Brotherhood, but during that time diplomatic relations were not developed and embassies were not opened.
Recall, at the end of last year there was an interesting precedent, the recognition of “Kosovo” was canceled by Suriname. And Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said that at least eight countries that recognized the independence of Kosovo did not in fact give such recognition.
