Netanyahu: Abbas and Palestinians don’t want to resolve conflict

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said that the President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas and Palestinians “do not want to resolve this conflict”, speaking at the meeting in Jerusalem, Sunday.

“Abbas declared that he is quitting the process and, in effect, is not interested in any proposal that the US might submit,” said Netanyahu. He went on to cite what he states is the US position on the conflict, claiming, “The root of the general conflict in the Middle East does not lie in Israel, but in Iran and in radical Islam and the terrorism that it inspires.”
