Zarif criticized the US for selling weapons to kill civilians

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif criticized the US for providing weapons to its allies for killing of civilians, saying that Iran stands for peace and dialogue in Yemen.

“While Iran calls for a ceasefire, assistance and dialogue with Yemen, the United States from the very first days sold weapons that allow its allies to kill civilians and doom them to starvation. No alternative evidence or evidence does not cover US complicity in war crimes, “Zarif said on Friday.

US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley on Thursday drew attention to what she said was a fragment of an Iranian missile sent to Yemen, which then struck Saudi Arabia.

Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, dismissed the allegations and said that Tehran’s position on Yemen is dialogue, peace and opposition to the bombing of a country that is experiencing a humanitarian crisis and badly in need of humanitarian assistance.

During the visit of US President Donald Trump to Saudi Arabia last May, when he made a foreign train for the first time since taking office, both countries signed an agreement on the sale of US weapons in the amount of 460 billion dollars.
