EU once again stressed its dependence on the White House – Senator

First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Vladimir Jabarov commented on the EU’s decision to once again extend sanctions against Russia. According to him, this was due to the fact that “there was no signal from Washington” to the contrary.

“The European Union once again stressed its complete dependence on the White House. Therefore, sanctions will be extended until the situation changes. But we were ready for this and did not even think that anything could change. I do not think anyone has noticed their extension,” he said.

Earlier, the chairman of the European Council Donald Tusk confirmed that the leaders of the EU countries approved the extension of economic sanctions against Russia.
