Bulgarian journalist: “Russia has not let terrorists into my country”

Russia destroyed the terrorists in their lair and did not let them go to Europe, a journalist of the Bulgarian News Front agency, Asya Ivanova, told the Red Spring news agency on December 14.

“Russia did not let terrorists into my country,” Ivanova commented on the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin at a big press conference on the completion of Russia’s military operation in Syria.

She spoke about the problem of refugees from the Middle East to Bulgaria. In her opinion, in the event that Russia did not stop the terrorists in Syria, the problem with them could seriously worsen. “We are sandwiched between East and West, so all these trends are extremely important for us,” she summed up.

The journalist noted that Russia and Bulgaria are linked by deep historical ties and that it was thanks to them that they managed to normalize relations between the two countries.
