Two people were killed after a car bomb exploded outside the Finance Ministry offices in Aden’s Khor Maksar district, on Wednesday, according to local sources.
According to officials another three people were seriously injured and hospitalised. The explosion also caused substantial damage to surrounding buildings.
Emergency services were deployed to the scene after being alerted about gunfire in the area.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack at the time of writing.
