The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies have reportedly liberated the village of Sarha Shamali from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) in the northeastern Hama countryside.
This was the recent in a series of advances of the SAA in the area which already led to a collapse of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham defense in a large area.
