The Federal Statistical Office of Germany estimated that last year about 9.2 billion euros were allocated for refugees in Germany. This is reported by the “Bild” newspaper.
According to the source, the total amount is 9.2 billion euros, which is 73% more than in the previous year. At the same time, the number of beneficiaries covered by the law fell from 974,551 to 728,239.
Specialists of the Federal Statistical Office of Germany explain the increase in the amount, above all, with 2 reasons: First, the houses for refugees have increased in price, and secondly, the constant costs for rented apartments that are empty, since they are not used.
