Ex-Slovak PM: NATO doesn’t protect anyone, only provokes a conflict with Moscow

Former Prime Minister of Slovakia Jan Carnogursky said that he does not see any security function in NATO. On the contrary, in his opinion, the United States through the military alliance actually draws Bratislava into the conflict with Russia that they created.

In particular, he sees the impotence of NATO in the fact that it was unable to defend itself against world terrorism and only provokes an influx of migrants to Europe.

Carnogursky suggests that in the next ten years, Slovakia can withdraw from the ranks of NATO member countries.

“The alliance does not protect our country. Slovakia has no confrontation with any country in the world, and NATO membership draws Bratislava into an artificially created conflict with Russia. Therefore, it is very possible that Slovakia will withdraw from NATO within 10 years,” the politician said.
