Roskomnadzor received an appeal from the Commission of the Federation Council on the protection of state sovereignty with a request to prepare a possible response to US actions against the Russian media.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow would be forced to take retaliatory measures against American channels operating in the country, in case Washington limits work of the Russian media in the USA.
