President of Serbia Alexander Vučić today during a meeting with the Russian ambassador Alexander Chepurin spoke about the expansion of cooperation between the two countries, the press service of the head of state reports.
Vučić and Chepurin expressed satisfaction with the economic cooperation between Russia and Serbia this year. As you know, Serbia has not joined the anti-Russian sanctions, and is increasing trade, in particular, agricultural products.
We also talked about military-technical cooperation, in which one of the key points was the recent transfer from Russia to Serbia of six MiG-29 aircraft. According to the Serbian president, this event has a great contribution for the protection of stability in the region and peace in the Balkans.
Alexander Vučić said in his wake that Serbia, within the framework of the policy of military neutrality, will develop relations with Russia on mutual interests.
