Syrian army repels terrorists’ heavy attack in Southern Aleppo

The Syrian Army troops fended off terrorists’ offensive in the Southern part of Aleppo province on Friday, inflicting heavy casualties on them.

The army soldiers engaged in heavy fighting with terrorists and warded off their attack on pro-government forces’ positions in Khan Touman region.

In the meantime, the army’s artillery units shelled heavily terrorists’ movements and positions in Khan Touman region, killing and wounding a large number of terrorists.

Relevant reports said on Saturday that artillery units of the Syrian pro-government popular committees, deployed in the towns of Nubl and al-Zahra, shelled heavily the movements of a group of Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) terrorists and repelled their attack on their defense lines in Bayanoun from the al-Ma’amel region, killing two gunmen and wounding several more.

The artillery units also pounded the positions of another group of Al-Nusra terrorists in al-Tamoureh, killing four gunmen and injuring several more.
